Shiver me timbers

I don't know if you can make it out in this photo, but that is frost on them there cars. Frost means cold. And I can confirm that is indeed cold. Very cold.

Winter is fast approaching and this is our first winter in the UK. They are forecasting snow in London before Xmas this year, which I am told is quite a rare event - you know, with global warming and all.

So it probably doesn't make sense to say that this is a baptism of fire, now does it?
