It's all about Mel ...

Clearly it's all about Mel! Who ever said I was camera shy? I'd obviously been practising my perfect camera pose for this evening.

Friday 29 April was my work leaving gig at the Irish Times. There was Irish beer, champagne and finger food a-plenty! A fun time was had by all. This eve made me realise one of the main reasons why I stuck around at Adecco for seven years ... they're just a great bunch of people. I will truly miss them all.

And the gagdet buying begins ...

And this is Mel's new toy. This picture does not do it justice: It is about 9 cm wide.

Paul got a little jealous when he saw the fabulousness of my new Mju Mini so challenged me in a Photo-Off, Snaps at two paces. This is Paul and his Canon Powershot A-85 in action. Needless to say ... the pic I took of him was much better than the pic he took of me (Right of reply: this is, of course, due to my embarassingly high photogenecy levels).

Mel bought her new camera yesterday - a crystal blue, 4mp, Olympus MJU Mini. She won;t stop playing with it and I am concerned that her gadget fever will soon outstrip my own. Anyway, this is a picture of Mel getting on top of things.
